1888		[Meeting held at the Sandon Hotel
			Monday 19th Nov 1888.]

		Present Mr R. Wilson in the chair
		Messrs W. Marriott, Berry, Brooks,
		Richards, Jackson, Fleming, Ramsay,
		Barclay.

		The minutes of last meeting were
		read and confirmed.

		Resolved that if the Secretary could obtain
		the consent of the Ulster Club to
		play their fixture in the morning of
		the 25 Dec, that permission be asked
		of the Lancs Association to play cup
		tie with Park road in the afternoon
		of that day, Park road having
		agreed to this course.

		Resolved that owing to the bad state
		of the ground, practice be suspended
		until further orders.

		The final selection of team left over
		till Friday - all the usual first team
		players to be advised.

		Elected Mr A. O. Broughton a member 12/6
			Messrs Davie, Coyne, Davis
		playing members.

		The meeting adjourned till Friday next.

202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
