Committee Meeting held Tuesday Oct 7th 1890

Present		W. E. Barclay Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Wilson, Currier, Ramsay,
		Coates, Clayton, Brooks, Fleming, Howarth, Dr. Baxter & the Secretary.
		
Minutes		of last meeting read & confirmed.

Team		v Aston Villa on Saturday same as against Derby County with
		Mr. Ramsay & Dr. Baxter representing the Committee.
		v South Shore- Smalley, Dobson, Creswell, W.H. Jones, R. Jones,
		Gordon, McGregor, Hammond, Abbott, the other two players to be
		selected by Mr. Clayton & the Secretary.

Players		Resolved that the selection Committee be empowered to engage
		two forwards for this season & that they proceed to engage players
		for next season. The present League team to be re-engaged.

Office		Resolved that the sum of Five Pounds be given to Mr. Elliot
		towards meeting his loss on contract for office.

Loan a/c	Resolved that the sum of One Hundred Pounds be paid to Mr. Houlding
		towards loan account.

New members	Resolved that Messrs T. SaVage of Domingo Vale and W. Murray
		of 159 Palmerston Drive Seaforth be members of the club.

Mr. Barclay	Resolved that we offer to Mr. Barclay our condolence in the
		loss of his Brother at Belfast 

Notice of Motion by Mr. Howarth on Monday next re finances of the club.

EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
