Committee Meeting held Monday 23rd March 1891

Present		Messrs Barclay (in the chair) Jackson, Williams, Ramsay,
		Fleming, Wilson, Coates, Clayton & the Secretary.

Minutes		of last meeting read & confirmed.

P. Gordon	This player appeared re his suspension and on his promise to
		keep in proper condition, the Committee decided to hand over
		his wages for last week after giving him a reprimanding for
		his conduct.

Trial Match	Resolved that the Secretary go to B'ham tomorrow.

Com. Meeting	Resolved that we meet at 2 O'clock on Monday next in the office.

E. Shaw	Resolved that this player be invited to come down & play
		on trial at Easter.

Players re	Resolved that Kirkwood & Campbell be not
engagement	reengaged for next team & that Brady case be left over.

Gratuity 	Resolved that we subscribe £2.2.0 to the benefit fund
		of H. Arthur of Blackburn.

Team for	Friday, Saturday & Monday selected from Jardine, Angus, McLean,
		Doyle, Shaw, Holt, Lochhead, Campbell, Kirkwood,
		Latta, Brady, Wyllie, Gordon, Geary, Chadwick & Milward.

Team on tour	Smalley, Dobson, Creswell, Martin, R. Jones, Robertson,
		Hammond, Murray, McGregor, McMillan, Elliott & W. H. Jones.

202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
