The Secretary reported that the only nomination
to the Directorate was that of Mr. Ernest Green.
Shearer The Secretary reported that Elliott spoke very
favourably of Shearer the centre forward of
Stenhousemuir and Ritchie the left full back
and it was resolved to keep these players in view.
Thompson & The payment of £750 transfer fee to Leicester
Harrison Fosse F. C. and £10 to Thompson and Harrison
respectively was ordered to be paid.
McLean The Secretary reported that Sheffield Wednesday
had not replied to his inquiry re McLean.
Burch The Secretary was instructed to keep Burch the
centre forward of Plymouth Argyle in view.
Elliott & To inquire from Middlesbrough F. C. re Elliott and
McTavish from Newcastle re McTavish.
To pay a donation of two guineas to the Bury F. C.
in aid of their attempt to extinguish their
liabilities.
To pay a donation of £10 to the Egremont Social
F. C. in respect of Wright and Kirby.
To call a ground Committee meeting for Thursday
evening next at 6:30 p.m.
To see Mr. Leitch with regard to plan of a
pavilion in connection with the Royal Visit.
