Reports re Players	Mr. E. Green reported that he could not
Gamble (Brentford) recommend either of these players. Mr. D. J.
Bisby (Notts C.) Sawyer reported similarly of the former & Mr. J.
		Elliott similarly of the latter.

Hunt & Cousins		Messrs A. R. Wade & Secy. reported very favourably
(Chesterfield)	of these two players, but the former thought that
		Hunt was on the small side.

Fielding & Gee		Mr. A. R. Wade reported that these were two
(Stockport)	good players and strongly recommended them.

Wallbanks		Mr. J. Fare gave a good report of this
(Barnsley)	Centre forward.

Davies (Bradford)	Mr. T. Fleetwood gave a very good report
Spencer (Stoke City) of these two players.

Holmes (Prescot)	Messrs W. C. Gibbins & Secy. gave a good report
		of this Centre-half.

Twell & Lowe		Mr. J. Elliott reported that the former was
(Southport)	too small, but that the latter was a good back.

Wilson (Hamilton)	Messrs J. Weir & J. Bell gave good reports of
		this centre forward.

Napier & Wilson		Mr. J. Weir gave a very good report of
(Celtic)	these two players.

Workington Players	Mr. W. Laine reported that none of these players
		in the match v S'land Res. were good enough for
		us, but gave a good report of Wilkins (S'land).

Bamford & Burgess	Mr. J. McGill reported that he could not
(N. Brighton Baptist) recommend the former, but that the latter
		was worth seeing again.

Metcalf (Blyth)		Letter read from the Club asking whether
		we were interested in this player. Decided to
		reply in the negative.

Derry City F.C.		Application from this Club for permission
		for J. McCambridge to play in a benefit match
		in May was refused.
