Report of	Dr. Baxter explained the result of their interview with Mr. Orrell &
deputation to	read a letter he received from that Gentleman, saying that he would allow
Mr. Orrell	the Club to go on undisturbed until 30th of April next on payment
		to him of £100 by Mr. Houlding on or before the 30th instant
		Dr. Baxter further stated that at a subsequent interview he, Dr. Baxter had, with Mr. Orrell
		had signified his willingness to let us have the use of his land
		for 10 years at a rental of £120 per annum.
		The deputation then proceeded to see Mr. Houlding on the subject &
		on their return the Committee were informed that Mr. Houlding
		was quite in favour of the payment of £100.00 as to tide over our
		present difficulties. A long discussion followed after which it
		was resolved "That we take no action in the matter until we
		hear from Mr. Houlding".

Notts Forest	Resolved that we accept the offer of Notts Forest to play here on
		Dec 19th for benefit of Holt & Chadwick viz £50 lump sum
		on the understanding that we shall increase offer if played as a
		Club fixture.

A. Smith	Resolved that a wreath be sent to Mrs. A. Smith & that the Secretary
		write a letter of condolence to the relatives.

Wages a/c	Resolved that the Treasurer be requested to furnish to the next Meeting
		a Statement of Wages paid during the Season & also money & bonuses
		advanced to players.

New Members	Resolved that we defer the election of new members to fill up vacancies
		for the present.

Team v		Accrington same as played against B'burn Rovers on
		Saturday last.
EVENTS
18 Standen Whiteside Linaker was considered for membership of the Club.
39 It was agreed to pay £10.00 to F Geary as a wedding present.
43 It was agreed that the Combination Team should be offered 2 guineas and a gold medal each if they got the championship.
51 Resolved that the silver medals to Everton Team from the previous season should be presented on 24 Oct.
72 Gordon appeared before the Committee and promised to abstain from drink in the future.
74 Call on players “to pay strict and special attention to training … and not to go skating on the ice.”
98 Resolved that a turnstile book be kept.
107 Resolved that 13 medals be purchased @ 24/- from Vaughton’s
112 Fred Geary was asked to look for employment outside a public house
