Committee Meeting held Monday Dec 14th 1891

Present		W. E. Barclay Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Jackson, Williams, Coates,
		Nisbet, Griffiths, Atkinson, Ramsay, Clayton, Dr. Baxter & Sec.

Minutes		of last meeting read & confirmed.

P. Gordon	This player appeared before the Committee to explain his
		conduct in the Sandon on the 5th, after he promised to
		abstain from drink in the future & being severely reprimanded
		by the Chairman, he was cautioned as to the result if he
		misconducted himself in the future.

Team	v	Notts Forest - same as last Saturday except McLean to play
		instead of Earp & this team to play against Sunderland
		on Xmas Day.

Do	v	Chirk - the same as played against Northwich with Kent
		as Reserve.

Reserve Player	Resolved that in future a reserve player go away with
		the Everton Team in case of accident.

Medical		Resolved that Dr. Moore be elected at a stipend of
Officer		£25 per annum, he to find all ordinary drugs.

Accounts	Resolved that the following accounts be paid
		Bartlett & Berry £9.0.4, Mawdsley's £ 63.17.6.

Orders for	Resolved that an order Book be kept by the Secretary
Club		with a duplicate - all goods etc. to be ordered officially.

Finance		Resolved that the Finance Committee meet on
Com.		Monday next at 7 O’clock.
EVENTS
18 Standen Whiteside Linaker was considered for membership of the Club.
39 It was agreed to pay £10.00 to F Geary as a wedding present.
43 It was agreed that the Combination Team should be offered 2 guineas and a gold medal each if they got the championship.
51 Resolved that the silver medals to Everton Team from the previous season should be presented on 24 Oct.
72 Gordon appeared before the Committee and promised to abstain from drink in the future.
74 Call on players “to pay strict and special attention to training … and not to go skating on the ice.”
98 Resolved that a turnstile book be kept.
107 Resolved that 13 medals be purchased @ 24/- from Vaughton’s
112 Fred Geary was asked to look for employment outside a public house
