Director to Leicester	Mr W. C. Gibbins.

Reports re Players	Mr E Green reported that he was not favorably
Walker (St Mirren) impressed with this player. Does not cover enough
		ground.

Aberdeen Players	He also reported that Moore (CF) was an
		excellent player & that he was also impressed
		with Mills (IL) & Godfrey (LH.)

York City Players	Mr H Hart reported that Fenoughty was
		not good enough for 1st League football and
		that Spooner & Baines had played poorly.

Stoke City Players	Mr J Fare reported that Liddle (OL) had had
		a good first half, but was not so prominent afterwards,
		Turner (CH) was outstanding, Ware (IR) had player
		very well, was big & about 23 & that Davies (IL)
		was the best of their forwards.

Black (Plymouth)	He also stated that this man was the
		best winger afield.

Chorley v Horwich	Mr J Elliott reported that none of the players
		in this match were good enough for us.

Clacher (Altrincham)	Mr T. Kelly reported that this IL who was
		about 22, 5'-7" to 8" 10st 10lb was a pretty good player
		& well worth watching again. He was on Alloa's
		retained list.

McCulloch (Accrington)	Mr T Fleetwood gave a bad report of the
Gordon (Rochdale) former, stating that he was not as good as
		our own, but that the latter was promising
		& might come on.

McKenna (Brenka)	Mr J McGill gave a fair report of this HB.

N.E. Players		Mr W Laine gave a fair report of the OR
		of Wardley United.

Burnley FC		This club having asked if we would meet
		a deputation re some of our players, it was decided
		to do so tomorrow.
