		It was agreed that the Chairman have a word with the
		Burnley Club as to the possibility of an exchange of players.

Shafto (Hexham)		Mr. T. Fleetwood gave an excellent report,
		& it was decided to offer this player £2/15/- per week,
		& the Club a donation of £125 maximum.

Smith (Dundee)		Mr. R. R. Cochran again reported well of
		this L. H.

Burgoyne (Bacup)	Mr. F. W. Lake was not unduly impressed
		with this L. H. but fancied Trippier I. L. of the same Club.

Laidman (Wigan)		Mr. H. Lyon gave a promising account
		of this 21 yr. old I. L. who was 5'7" & about 10 st.

Cochrane (Portadown)	Letter read stating that these players
& Kirkwood (Plymouth) were of good moral character.

Bonney (Chorley)	Secy. reported that had had a further
		good report of this tall young C. F.

England v Hungary	Reported that the F.A. had chosen Britton
		for this match & Directors Baxter & Evans agreed to
		attend the F.A. Dinner after the match.

Scotland v Wales	Permission granted to S.F.A. to select
		Gillick if required, was confirmed.

I. Free State F.A. v Hungary Request for the release of Stevenson for
		this match was not entertained.

Dickinson, A.	(178)	It was reported that this player had
		re-signed at the terms offered.

F.L. re Broadcasting	Circular dated November, 1936, was
		read & it was agreed that we raise no objection to
		the suggested scheme.

T. G. Watson		Chesterfield F.C. having asked if this
		player was for transfer, it was decided that the Secy.
		endeavour to get the best price he could, over & above
		£500. If a transfer was arranged, permission to be
		sought to pay the player £100 as Accrued Share of Benefit.

E. Walkden		Decided to transfer this player to Prescot
		Cables F.C. until the end of the current season. (260)
