C. & Secy. Minutes of Meeting of the 15th. inst. & of Finance Meeting, same date, were read & confirmed. R. Groves Secy. reported that this man had been engaged at a wage of £3/10/- weekly. Finance Cheques were signed for:- Customs & Excise £455.17.1 Lord Mayor of L'pools War Fund £728.18.1 The total raised for the Fund would eventually be £1187.15.2. v Manchester Utd. Bank Balance £26,441.12.3. Dr. Secy. outlined the available players & a provisional team was chosen. J. R. Thomson It was agreed that Mr. E. Green & Secy. interview this player, to ascertain his requirements in the event of his appointment as Coach to the Professional players here. Baseball Secy. reported that the Nett Profit for the Summer had been £111.15.5. Transfer of Shares Following was approved :- Shares Nod. 929 & 2274 from S. Smith to P. S. Smith.
