Report 104 6th (attached) was read & adopted.
Scottish Players Directors present at Motherwell v Rangers
reported upon Thornton & Mathie, & with the Secy.
confirmed arrangements made at Motherwell with
Rangers F. C. to consider the figure of £10,000 for
the transfer of Arnison (C. F.). Noted that before
the full Board had been able to consider,
the player had gone to Luton Town at an
apparently lower figure.
It was agreed that Messrs Green,
Lake & Secy. proceed to Rangers v Falkirk
match next day (Aug. 18) to view Aikman (& if
possible, find out more about the Arnison matter),
with powers to sign the Falkirk leader if
satisfied with his ability.
