Minutes of last meeting read and confirmed. Medical The secretary having read letter from Dr. W Officer G. Moore accepting the terms of his engagement the same was approved. Team v Notts Kitchen, Balmer, Eccles, Wolstenholme, Booth, County Abbott, Sharp, Taylor, Young, Settle, Bell. Team v Rossendale Muir, Sharp, Watson, Brown, Clarke, United Boyle, Roche, Paterson, Proudfoot, Bone. Singleton with Chadwick as reserve. Director to Nottingham Mr. Wright. do in Gate Mr. Bainbridge. Bowman The Secretary having reported that the deputation had arranged with East Stirlingshire for the transfer of Adam Bowman at the price of £100 to the club and £10 & £3 per week to the player the arrangement was confirmed. Singleton The directors desiring that this player should have a further trial the Secretary was instructed to write him pressing him to play on Saturday next. Proudfoot Grimsby Town F.C. having enquired if we would transfer this player it was resolved that the sum of £150 be asked. Advertising After discussion on the subject of the advertising of the matches it was resolved to recommend that the Sub Committee re-arrange the system and that the posters be divided between the principal Bill posters in a more equal proportion.
