 Meeting of Directors held April 8th 1902.

Present		B. Kelly Esq. (chair) Messrs Bainbridge,
		Baxter, Clayton, Davies, Kirkwood, Whitford,
		& Wright.

Minutes		of last meeting read and confirmed.

Trainer		made his weekly report.

Messrs Clayton & Wright reported their visit to the
		International match at Glasgow.

Ashcroft	The Secretary having read letter from Woolwich
		Arsenal alleging that we had tampered with
		this player he was instructed to write a
		denial.

Do & Jackson	Messrs Clayton, Kirkwood & Whitford and
		Messrs Bainbridge & Baxter if possible were
		deputed to visit West Bromwich on Saturday
		with power to engage either or both these players.

Team v Notts	Kitchen Balmer Watson, Wolstenholme
County		Booth, Abbott, Sharp, Taylor, Young, Settle,
		Bell. Reserves Boyle & Bowman.

v Nelson	Ford  W. Young, R. Balmer, Clayton, Clarke,
		Brown, Rankin, Paterson, Tudor, Bone and
		Singleton. Reserve Chadwick.

v Skelmersdale	At Skelmersdale. The Secretary reporting
on 16th inst.	that this semifinal tie in the Liverpool
		Cup was to be played at Skelmersdale
		the following team was selected.
		Muir, Boyle, R. Balmer, Clayton, Clarke, Brown,
		Rankin, Paterson, Bowman, Makepeace, Singleton.
		If successful the same team to play in final.

L'pool Shield	The Secretary was instructed to consent to
Semi final 	the replayed semi final Kirkdale v Tranmere
		Rovers on this ground on the 17th inst.
Ford		Mr. Davies did not report very favorably on Ford.
