[Meeting of Directors held at 26 North John Street Liverpool May 29th 1903.] Present W. R. Clayton Esq. (chair) Messrs Coates, Davies, Kelly, Kirkwood, Whitford, & Wright. Minutes of last meeting were read & confirmed. The Secretary having read the particulars obtained regarding M Flannery (Hamilton, Wilson, St. Mirren, Reid, Hibernians, Lean 3rd Lanark & that it had been arranged to engage Carr on the 1st prox at £2 in summer & £3 in winter. Resolved that the Secretary proceed to Scotland to sign Carr & that Mr. Kirkwood with the Secretary be empowered to negotiate for the transfer & engagement of Wilson, Reid or Lean & that if necessary a bonus be paid to Carr. Door keepers for The Secretary was instructed to obtain Annual meeting the services of Harding & Meagher with Corrin if possible & advise them as to those entitled to 2 voting cards & those not entitled to any on the recommendation of the ground Committee the Secretary was instructed to get the mower repaired, also a new water main laid & a lawn mower. The Secretary was instructed to notify the Highland Gathering that the sale of drink would be prohibited on Saturday & Monday. Next meeting Friday at New City Hall Eberle St. at 7.30 pm.
