[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park August 23 1904] Present J. Davies Esq. (Chair) Messrs Bainbridge, Baxter, Kelly, Kirkwood, Whitford & Wright. Minutes The minutes of last 2 meetings were read & confirmed. Reports McLoughlin The Secretary reported that he & Elliott had visited Glasgow, saw McLoughlin, that his application for transfer had been remitted by the Scottish League to the F. A. Linfield Match The letter from the League President requesting us to rearrange the Linfield Fixture as an act of grace was read whereupon it was resolved to cancel the fixture for the 1st prox. & to rearrange it if possible. The Doctor reported progress in respect to Thorburn & Whitley but that these players had not conformed to his instructions & the Secretary was instructed to read the Drs. complaint to these players & to have a notice posted in dressing room. Dr. Whitford threw out a suggestion as to permitting players to consult their own medical men. Team for Blues 2nd practice game Scott W. Balmer J.
