Minutes of last two meetings, of finance & ground sub committee meetings read & confirmed. Reports by Dr. & trainer read & made. Directors reported Notts County match. Mr. Bainbridge reported combination match. Lanc. Cup tie The Secretary reported his visits to St. Helens & Blackpool, his communications with Mr. Lewis & that he had intimated a desire to scratch owing to the inability to satisfactorily arrange with St. Helens & that a meeting of the Executive of the Lanc. F. A. has been convened for this evening to deal with the matter. Team v Sheffield Kitchen, Balmer, Crelley, Wolstenholme, United Booth, Abbott, Sharp, Taylor, Settle, McDermott, & Corrin, R. Balmer & Young reserves. Team v City Whitley, Gordon, Wildman, Chadwick, Russell, Res. or St. Helens Makepeace, Rankin, Sheridan, Young, O'Hagan, Hardman, Dilly & Simpson reserves. Training Resolved that the team go to Redcar on the 20th inst. & that after the Middlesbro match the players proceed to training quarters to be hereafter decided upon.
