Meredith The Secretary reported that this club
player had met him on Monday at
Wrexham & had stated that he was a
registered League player for Manchester City that
he, the player, had forgotten to inform the directors
so on Saturday, that the Secretary had
therefore written City informing them of the
circumstances that as he could not find
such registration in the list he had
written the League Secretary to know
if such player had been registered
& his action was approved & he was
instructed to follow the matter up &
if possible secure the player at a
salary of 50/- per week for remainder of
the season & to arrange for his transfer
at a price not exceeding £25.
