[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison

Minutes The number of last meeting were
read and confirmed.
Reports Dr. Baxter reported his visit to
Parker Clayton but that he could not
recommend the engagement of
Parker.
Kirkaldy The Secretary reported the visit of Mr.
Wade & himself to Newcastle, that
they learned that Kirkaldy had recently
undergone an operation for the removal
of a cartilage that they had accordingly
declined to negotiate for his transfer
without seeing him play that on the
recommendation of Newcastle United.
McCormack They had engaged McCormack at a
wage of £4, Bonus £10, transfer fee £250
& the same was confirmed.
Dogulas That after repeated interviews & his
promise to sign for £3 per week & a
situation at 15/- per week Douglas had
ultimately declined to sign for us & the
Secretary was instructed to offer him
