Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read
& confirmed.
Continental The Secretary reported having wired to
Tour Haarlem on Monday accepting £55 for
a match there on May 3rd: that he
had seen a press announcement that
Sunderland were playing Chelsea at
Haarlem on that date: that he had
wired Haarlem yesterday asking them to
confirm our engagement & that he had
this afternoon received a reply as follows
"no match 3rd May here Writing".
Resolved that the matter be further considered
on receipt of their letter.
Borthwick The engagement of these players at the
Turner maximum wage with a transfer fee
of £350 for Borthwick and £250 for Turner
to the Edinburgh Hibernians was
confirmed.
