Wilson The Secretary reported the receipt of & read
letter from F. J. Wall dated the 14th inst. in
reply to our letter assenting to the registration
of Geo. Wilson as a professional player for
Newcastle United & that he had replied
to such letter on the 15th inst: that on
the 13th inst. he had transferred Wilson
to Newcastle United as a League player
in consideration of £1000 payable as to
£500 thereof down & as to the balance with
Bankers interest on February 1st 1908; that
the Bank on Novr. 18 had notified as that
payment of such cheque had been stopped;
that on enquiring the reason had received
a wire followed by a letter that Mr. Wall
