Douglas The Secretary's invitation to Douglas to play for us here on the 28th inst. or 1st prox. or both was confirmed. Rylands of Messrs Kirkwood, Wade & Whitford were Haslingden deputed to go to Failsworth on Saturday with full powers. Young The Secretary reported the information as to Young drinking an excessive quantity of stout on the evening of the 22nd ult. & on Young appearing he admitted having had drink on the night in question
