[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park, August

Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read &
confirmed.
A. Berry Mr. Clayton reported that A. Berry had
signed for Fulham but that be may be
available later in the Season.
Greenaway The Secretary reported that Woolwich
would require about £800 for this player.
No action.
Spiers Mr. Kirkwood & the Secretary reported that
they saw this player & arranged with him
to come on trial for a month at 50/- per
week & if suitable form displayed to
sign for us at the same wage: the club
stating that they would be reasonable
in the fee: that Port Glasgow had since
written that the player declined to come
on trial & that he would require £4 per
week. Resolved that the arrangements
made by the deputation be not exceeded
