257 [Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park September 23rd 1909] Present D Kirkwood Esq Chair Messrs Bainbridge Baxter Clayton Kelly Wade Whitford Wilson Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read & confirmed as of the meeting of Saturday. Overdraft The Secretary reported that Scrip for £4450, Lpool Corporation 3½% stock had been deposited with the N & S Wales Bank & that the Bank had agreed to our a/c being overdrawn to £10,000. Resolved that the action of the deputation in arranging for this overdraft subject to the transfer by Power of Attorney of the above mentioned Scrip to the Bank as Security be & is hereby confirmed and the Seal of the Company to such power of Attorney be and is hereby authorized to be affixed. The Power of Attorney was handed in by Mr Clayton and the Seal of the Co affixed thereto in the presence of the Messrs Clayton & Whitford. The Secretary reported that the Bank debited us with 11/6 fees.
