[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison
Park August 25th 1910]

Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read &
confirmed.
Tip up chairs The Secretary reported that when the
contractors attended to measure the
stand for chairs he was struck with the
fact that the size of the chairs made it
almost impossible for a person to pass
along the rows; that upon consulting
Mr. Kelly he instructed the makers not
to proceed with the order until the Directors
had considered the matter and that in
the meantime the contractors should submit
2 sample chairs for a test by the Directors
on Thursday the 25th inst.
The Directors having tested same it was
resolved that as the statement by the Contractor's
representative that the chairs (as per sample)
could be fitted to the stand was not borne
out upon being tested the action of the
Secretary in stopping the order be confirmed
& that the Secretary obtain estimates for
supplying a back rail & iron divisions.
