My First Everton Match: Wolves' Reserves, March 1963

Earliest Memory of watching Everton...
I was about 4 years old and Everton Reserves
were playing Wolverhampton Wanderers Res.

My Dad told me years later that it was my first
visit to Goodison Park.
|
|
|
|
The only memory of the game was that Everton played in ALL WHITE ? Unfortunatly it was a 0 - 0 draw as Wolves were
a decent side in those days. Though the first time my Dad took me to a night game it was then I became hooked on Everton.

The long climb up the staircase, and the buzz
as you got into the stands and then.....
That BEAUTIFUL Green of the pitch under the
floodlights of Goodison Park...amazing!
