(Chair) Messrs Allman Coffey Green Kirkwood The following team was selected to play at Stalybridge on Tuesday:- Mitchell Stevenson Weller Challinor Wareing Roy Beare Nuttall Wright Bradshaw Palmer The following players were selected to go to Scotland:- Fern, Thompson, Maconnachie, Simpson, Harris, Fleetwood, Grenyer, Chedgzoy, Houston, Parker, Clennell, Harrison and Kirsopp if we entered into an engagement with him. The Secretary was instructed to offer an engagement to W. H. J. Kirsopp at £2 per week in the summer and £3 per week in the winter. The Secretary reported that he had arranged with Wallasey Borough F.C. for Kirsopp's transfer at £10. A deputation from St. Mirren F.C. attended the meeting and the transfer of James Brannick was arranged with them at a fee of £75 and that St. Mirren F.C. be given time for payment to the end of September.
