Davies reported Dean, Kelly, Virr & Robson unfit for this week. Reports re Players Mr. E. Green reported that this forward was a Astley (Charlton) good player, he lacked punch. Bullock (Chesterfield) Mr. J. Elliott gave a good report of this centre forward. Barnsley v Bradford Secy. reported that out of there teams & Tranmere v N. Brighton he only considered Ridding (Tranmere) likely to be of service to us. Nelson (Preston) Mr. T. Fleetwood reported that he did not consider this player good enough for us. Pitcairn & Park Mr. J. McGill gave a good report of these (Connahs Quay) half backs. Scottish Players Mr. J. Weir reported favorably of Watson (Hamilton Acas.) & McAllister (St. Johnstone)
