[Meeting of Directors held at No. 8 Harrington St. Liverpool on Friday 23rd May 1930.] Present Mr. W. C. Cuff (Chair) & all other Directors except Dr. C. S. Baxter. New Players It was agreed that the deputation to the Annual League Meeting in London have powers to enter into negotiation with the Clubs concerned re the following players viz. Britton & Dix (Bristol Rovers), Hunt & Cousins (Chesterfield), Lowe (Southport). Kelly The deputation were also given powers to accept the best offer up to £1000 for this player. Weldon Letter read from M'bro. F. C. adhering to previous offers for this player. Agreed to accept £1000 without any further stipulation. Kennedy Secy. reported that Tranmere Rovers F. C. were prepared to pay £150 for this player. It was agreed to accept this on the distinct understanding that he was not to get any accrued share of benefit. League & F. A. Messrs The Chairman & Secy. were given power Meetings to vote on all matters at these meetings at their discretion. Match at Barcelona The action of the Chairman in not entertaining an application to play match in Barcelona was confirmed. B. Williams Secy. reported that this player was still feeling the effects of his injury, and it was decided that he be examined again by Mr. T. P. McMurray as early as possible.
