Committee Meeting held Monday May 16th 1892

Present		G. Mahon Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Atkinson, Leyland, Coates,
		Davies, Griffiths, Clayton, Currier, Jackson & the Secretary.

Minutes		of last Meeting read & confirmed.

F. Geary	This player appeared & was requested to look out for other
		employment not in a Public House if possible as members
		were complaining of same. After several members of Com.
		had expressed their views the matter was left over for Geary's
		consideration.

Chadwick &	A letter from T. Chadwick was read by the Secretary, after which
Holt		it was resolved "That the Committee decline to deal with
		the matter until the threats are withdrawn, after which, Holt,
		E. Chadwick & his Father be asked to attend before the Committee".

Payments to	The Sec. reported receipt of cheque from Doyle £66.18.1 and
the Club	from Lan. Association £63.10.8.

Accounts	Resolved that Stafford & Co. account for Firework Posters be
		paid £3.15.0.

		Resolved that S. Orme have a Guinea presented to him in
		consideration of team winning Combination Championship.

Combination	Resolved that we enter our team in the Combination
		for next Season.

L' Pool Caledonians Resolved that the Secretary meet the Caledonians & ascertain in
& Lan. League	what way the Committee can assist them to get admission in the
		Lan. League. The Secretary to carry out their suggestions.
EVENTS
18 Standen Whiteside Linaker was considered for membership of the Club.
39 It was agreed to pay £10.00 to F Geary as a wedding present.
43 It was agreed that the Combination Team should be offered 2 guineas and a gold medal each if they got the championship.
51 Resolved that the silver medals to Everton Team from the previous season should be presented on 24 Oct.
72 Gordon appeared before the Committee and promised to abstain from drink in the future.
74 Call on players “to pay strict and special attention to training … and not to go skating on the ice.”
98 Resolved that a turnstile book be kept.
107 Resolved that 13 medals be purchased @ 24/- from Vaughton’s
112 Fred Geary was asked to look for employment outside a public house
