Jones (Burnley)		Mr J. Fare reported that this player was good
		in midfield, but he finished badly.

Starling (N'cle United)	Mr W. Laine reported that this man was a
		good player, but the Board considered the fee  £4000 asked
		was too big.

Finch (Barnet)		Mr J. Elliott gave a good report of this O Left
		whom he stated was about 5'8½" & 11st.

Kingham (Luton)		Mr H. Ford gave a good report of this back.

Holmes (Herts)		Mr J. Elliott gave a good report of this R.B.

Morris & Evans		Mr W. J. Wallace gave a very poor report of
(Ebbw Vale)	these two players.

L'pool County Combn.	Mr T. Kelly reported on this match and gave
v W. Lancashire League good accounts of the L.B. of Darwen (Reeday), Higham (CF), Bolton Wdrs
		& Woods (HB) of Blackburn Rovers.  Strong CH Bolton

Kealey (Chester)	Letters read from Chester F.C. that they were
		now prepared to part with this player, and asking
		for an offer. Decided to ask them to fix a price.

England v Wales		Secy stated that our players Gee (CH) & Johnson
		as Reserve for this match on 18th inst. Decided that
		Messrs J Sharp & C Hayes represent the club at the F.A.
		luncheon.
			An application from the Welsh F.A., through
		the Football League for release of our players
		Williams, & P. & T. Griffiths to play for Wales if
		selected was agreed to.

Lancashire F.A.		Letter read asking us to recommend amateur
		players for their County matches. Decided to
		recommend, Jackson (FB), Edwards (RH) & Worrall (OR)

Collections		Application for Collections were received from
		St. Johns Ambulance Brigade & L'pool Branch of
		Natl Institute for Blind were refused at present,
		but to ask for same later on in the Season.

Liddle (E Fife)	Letter read from this Club asking for a
		fee of £1500 for this player's transfer.
