Foreign Tours Letters read from T. Cook & Sons on behalf of
the Barcelona FC offering £1750 for 6 matches in
Spain. Secy reported that on the instructions of the
Chairman he had written stating that we would
not be prepared to accept less than £2500.
Letter read from S. Africa Offering terms for
12 or 14 matches. It was however decided not to
accept this owing to the length of time it would
take.
Further letter read from Zurich F.C. Decided
to ask for a guarantee of £1600 for 4 matches
to be played in Switzerland before end of May.
Letter read from J. Dick on behalf of Sparta F.C.
Prague. Secy stated he had written asking what
amount they were prepared to offer us for 5 matches
in Central Europe in May.
Weekend Leave Coggins & Williams were granted leave
for next week end.
Romance of Everton Letter read from a Mr W. H. Archer asking if
we would let him write a book on this subject.
Decided to inform him that as we had published
a History 3 years ago, we could not accept his
offer.

Welsh F.A. Secy was instructed to write Mr T. Robbins re
his non-informing us of the selection of T. Griffiths
for their match v Ireland on 5th inst
