Reports re Players	Mr. E. Green & A. Coffey reported that this player
Heale (Bristol City) was not the type to recommend for our purpose. He was not
		above 5'8", ? about 10½ st., lacking in stamina & a poor shot.

Hills (Stockport)	Mr. H. Hart stated that this was a very fair
		player but finished poorly.

Bentham (Wigan)		Mr. J. Elliott said that this player did not play.

Thomas (Llanerch)	He also reported on his efforts to sign this
	Celts	player who was however, signed for Bolton Wanderers.
		He gave a good report of Ravanagh (R. H.) of Wigans.

Haycock (Prescot C.)	Mr. T. Fleetwood stated that this I. R. had
		not played well & was very slim. He however, was
		impressed with the form of Reeves (C. F.) of Hyde 5'9", 10½st.

Batey (Carlisle)	Mr. F. W. Lake reported that this C. H. was not
		good enough & simply played the part of a 3rd back.

Blackshaw (Altrincham)	Mr. E. Cooper gave a good report of this O. L.

Bocking			Secy. reported that Brentford F. C.
		considered our price for this player to be too high.

Turner			He also reported an enquiry from
		Crystal Palace F. C. about this O. L.

L'pool Challenge	Letter from Earlestown White Star was
	Cup	read, asking us to consider changing the venue of the
		3rd Rnd. Tie. This was not entertained.

F. L. Match v M/C City	Secy. was instructed to offer Jan. 31st
		as a suggested date for this postponed fixture.

C. L. Match v L'pool	The choice of a date for this re-
		arranged match was deferred.

Ash Trays in Director's	Secy. was instructed to purchase 60
      Box	Ash Trays for use in the Director's Box.

Friendly Match for 27th	Request from Watford F. C. for match
		on this date was considered but the matter was left over.
