		asked £250 for transfer of this O. L. but no action was taken.

New Score Board		Minutes of the Ground Committee Meeting
		held on 28th July were read & confirmed.

New Stand (279)		Decided to charge 2/- for the seats in
		this Stand for League matches.

H. Banks		It was agreed that we pay the cost
		of the funeral expenses of this Director, amounting to £23.2.0.

Capt. & Vice Captain	Consideration of these items was
Halifax Town F. C. deferred until the next Meeting.

Watson T. G.		Request from Burnley F. C. for the
		transfer of this player, was not entertained.

F. A. Letter		Letter read, concerning the sending off
		of Jones & other incidents on the Danish Tour. It
		was agreed that the Chairman reply to this.

F. L. Minutes		Extract read referring to a request
		from Sales Research Services for information re-
		garding average gates at our matches last year. It
		was agreed that we supply same.

Scouts			Agreed that Messrs Cochran & Laine
		attend practice matches in L'pool on 18th & 21st inst.

Stourbridge F. C.	Letter read asking that Club be taken
		over as a nursery, but same was not entertained.

Stand Clock		Decided to purchase a new movement
		for the existing clock site at a cost of Five Guineas.

J. Twist Testimonial	Mr. E. Green was deputed to make some
		enquiries as to the attitude of the Lancs F. L. Clubs.

'A' Team Ground (256)	Letter read from Co-operative Sports Organ-
		ization asking for assistance of labourers to extend wire
		netting guards at goal-end. Decided that we ask them to
		obtain a tender for the work.

Donation		Two Guineas was granted to the Workmen's
		Mission Picnic Fund.
