Cuff's letter was read & it 271 was agreed that the Sat Committee should consider the ideas conveyed, at their next Meeting. McGowan (Partick) Mr. J. Stein reported that this player 274 had not been thoroughly tested. Kirkman (Rochdale) Mr. R. McArdale thought this player aged 24, 5'11", & 11st 11lbs; of a puzzling natures. In the main, he played well, but miskicked badly & therefore he could not recommend him. He gave a very good report of Walter Jones (C. F) playing in his first Senior match. Aged 22, 5'11", 12st. Tomlinson (Oldham) Mr. R. Bentham gave a very good 272 report of this O. R. 22, 5'9" 11 stone.
