			Opinions were them expressed by all
		Directors and it was agreed that the
		Directors should meet privately at Goodison
		Park on Monday Oct. 29th at 3 p.m. to discuss
		the situation more fully.

Gillies (C. H.)		Mr. Britton them reported his visit to
		Bolton v Huddersfield game. The standard of
		play was poor, and he did not think Gillies
		was the type of player to half us out, and
		was not as dominating as Lindley.

Blunstone 104.		It was reported that nothing could
		be done regarding this player at the moment.
			Eglington had received a knock and
		was doubtful for Saturday.

Correspondence		Return thanks from Mr. Lake were
		read, and a letter from the Army F. A. was
		read expressing their appreciation for our visit
		to Aldershot.

South L'pool F. C.	An appeal for recognition and
	55	Financial assistance from this Club, for their
		gesture in releasing Burnett 2 years ago was
		read, and it was agreed that this be turned down.
