Rankin, Bowman, Proudfoot, Bone, Singleton. The Secretary having read letter from Grimsby Watson that price asked for this player was too high he was instructed to write for offer. Finney Resolved that in case Dr. Baxter could not go Mr. Coates to accompany Mr. Clayton to Accrington. Mr. Bye The Secretary was instructed to write to the League asking that Mr. Bye be not appointed to act in any matches we may be engaged in the future. Mr. T. Maley Resolved that this gentleman be invited to our Cup tie with Liverpool. Cup tie The Secretary having read letter from L'pool F.C. re arrangements for this match it was resolved that Messrs Clayton, Coates & Wright be deputed to complete arrangements. Resolved that Messrs Coates & Whitford attend upon the Lord Mayor & Sir J. Willox, Sir E. R. Russell & Messrs Wynne Hadden & Jeans to extend invitations to League match with Liverpool.
