Dr. Whitford reported his visit to training quarters & that it was doubtful whether Settle & Sharp would be fit for Saturday whereupon it was resolved to defer the selection of the team until Saturday. Proudfoot A letter from Small Heath offering £25 for Proudfoot’s transfer & the Secretary having replied asking for £75 resolved that £50 be accepted. Bowman Resolved that Dr. Baxter be empowered to negotiate with Manchester United for the transfer of this player for £200 or over. The Secretary read letter from Swindon F.C. re Jones Right or left back & that he had asked where they were playing on Saturday next the 28th inst. Sheridan The Irish F.A. having asked for the services of Sheridan for the 21st prox v Scotland and 28th prox v Wales it was resolved that they be granted.
