Brearley	This matter being treated as urgent it was
		reported that Liverpool had offered £150
		for his transfer & that Middlesbro were
		also enquiring for him it was proposed
		that Brearley be offered an engagement at
		£4 per week and that for the present we
		could not entertain Liverpool's offer.

League		Dr. Baxter expressed his willingness to
Enquiry		attend this Enquiry as the representative
		of the Club.

Present		W. R. Clayton Esq. Chair Messrs Bainbridge,
		Coates, Baxter, Davies, Kelly, Mahon, Whitford and
		Wright, Mr. Kirkwood away on Club business.

Minutes		of last two meetings read & confirmed.

Reports		Mr. Clayton reported visit of Mr. Wright, Mr.
		Kirkwood & Self to Scotland but was not
		favorably impressed with Clarke but
		liked McMurray Rangers inside right.
		Mr. Kirkwood remained behind with Elliott.

Hardman		The Secretary reported that he had attended
		League meeting re Hardman & that the
		Committee found that as we had unwittingly
		broken Rule 7 they decided to take no action.
