Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed. Reports:- The Doctors report was read. The trainer reported condition of players. Twigg Dr. Baxter & Mr. Davies reported their visit to see Gainsboro Trinity play at Manchester: that Twigg would be a desirable acquisition to our team & that in fact the forwards generally were very good. Messrs Bainbridge, Wade & the Secretary were deputed to go into the matter and report. Mr. Wade reported the Combination match at Ashton. The League game v Stoke was reported upon. McDermott McDermott appeared before the Board respecting his absence from training & on admitting that he had been drinking he was suspended for one month from the 10th inst.
