[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park Febry. 14th 1905] Present G. Mahon Esq. (Chair) Messrs Baxter, Davies, Kelly, Kirkwood, Whitford & Wright. Messrs Bainbridge & Wade on club business. Minutes The minutes of the last meeting were read & confirmed. Reports The Doctors report was read. The Combination match was reported. Resolved that the League team remain at home & that Messrs Bainbridge, Kelly, Kirkwood & Whitford supervise the training. Stoke The selection of the team was deferred until Friday. 2nd team match The Secretary was empowered to invite the Nomads on half gate (net) terms failing this to have no match. Messrs Davies, Kirkwood and Wright to select the team. Graham & Messrs Bainbridge, Baxter, Clayton, Davies, Morton Kirkwood & Wade were deputed to see these players play on Saturday next with full powers to deal with the club for either or both men if satisfied as to their ability. Benefit Resolved that Mr. Kelly & the Secy. arrange for a dinner to the players on Monday next & that cheques for £300 be handed to Abbott, Kitchen, Settle & Sharp respectively on a/c
