[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park July 31 1906] Present G. Mahon Esq. chair Messrs Bainbridge Clayton Davies Kelly Kirkwood Wade Whitford Wilson Minutes The minutes of the meetings of June 19, July 7 & 16th & of the Advertising, Ground & Finance meetings were read & confirmed. Chelsea F.C. The Secretary having explained the position the whole question was considered & he was instructed to endeavour to abandon the fixture. F.A. Commission Mr. Clayton having reported the conversation with Mr. Crump & the Secretary having reported his attendance & the letter from the F.A. giving their finding having been read, it was resolved that the Secretary be instructed to remit the fine £4 & to pay the expenses, also to take steps to acquaint the public with the facts of the case. Club picnic Resolved that the Directors & officials have their annual picnic to Llandudno on August 8th. The Secretary to make the necessary arrangements.
