		Attention having been called to the
		fact that tempting offers had been
		made to some of our players by
		other clubs - it has unanimously
		resolved to point out to them the
		illegality of receiving money for
		playing, and to impress upon them
		that this committee would not
		consent to any remuneration
		whatever to amateurs.
