[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park on
Friday August 2nd 1912]
Present All the Directors except Mr. Allman.
Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed
as were those of the Finance Meeting held June 25th 1912.
Amateur team Dr. Whitford reported that we had been admitted
to membership of the Wednesday League and the
fixtures were left to the Secretary to arrange. The
selection of Amateur players was left in the hands
of Mr. Kirkwood and the Secretary.
Collyer The price asked by Crystal Palace £1500 being
considered too high it was resolved to do nothing.
McNair The Secretary was instructed to ascertain if Celtic
would part with this player.
Friendly The consideration of applications for friendly matches
fixtures was deferred for the present.
National Health The Secretary read the correspondence between the
Insurance League and the Secretary of the Insurance Committee
hereon.
Meunier Lincoln City's application to defer the payment
of Meunier's transfer fee until October 1st was granted.
Allan Allan's application for percentage of increase of
transfer fee was declined.
