[Meeting of Directors held at the Bradford Hotel
April 25th 1913.]
Present All the Directors except Mr. Allman.
Reports The Secretary reported the receipt of letters from:-
(a) Middlesbrough asking £650 for Cail.
(b) Glasgow Rangers that they could not spare
Brown at present.
(c) Motherwell that Mitchell would be playing
at Firhill tomorrow.
(d) Partick Thistle that they would consider our
letter re King at their next meeting and
that the player could be seen against Glasgow
Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday May 3rd.
(e) Morton F. C. that they were considering our
inquiry re Fulton and asking for an offer for
Bradford.
(f) That he had no reply from Kilmarnock re
Cunningham.
(g) That Leicester Fosse had wired offering to
accept £800 for Harrison outside left and
Thompson right back, that Harrison would
be playing at Hull on Saturday but that
Thompson was unfit.
It was resolved that Mr. Wade, the Secretary and
John Fare proceed to Glasgow tonight with full
powers re Brown of Rangers, King of Partick,
Thistle, Cunningham of Kilmarnock, Mitchell
of Motherwell and Fulton of Greenock Morton;
that Messrs Clayton, Coffey and Wade attend the
Leicester Fosse meeting of Directors with full powers
to engage Harrison and Thompson or either of them.
