T. Page The Secretary reported the result of his
enquiries hereon & it was resolved that if
Page had a free transfer he be offered an
engagement at £2 per week.
Caldwell Woolwich Arsenal having increased their
offer for Caldwell to £200 it was resolved
that same be accepted.
Stevenson The Secretary reported that he had been
unable to obtain any further evidence hereon.
Gault The transfer of W. E. Gault to Stockport County
for £100 payable.

with a further £50 should Stockport County transfer
him or reengage him for next season was
confirmed.
Election of Chairman
Mr. Kelly proposed
Mr. Kirkwood seconded
and it was unanimously resolved
That Mr. W. R. Clayton be elected Chairman.
Mr. Clayton thanked the Directors for his election
and in the name of his colleagues & himself
extended a welcome to Mr. Ernest Green
to the Board.
