[Meeting of Directors held at the Bradford Hotel
March 31st 1914.]
Present All the Directors except Messrs. Baxter & Coffey.
Minutes The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and
confirmed.
The Secretary gave the Trainers reports.
The League and Central League matches were reported.
The Secretary reported the visit of Makepeace to
Ormskirk on Saturday and that the only player
who struck him as being at all likely was Kirsopp
the inside right of Wallasey Borough and it was
resolved that this player be seen play again.
Mr. Kelly reported the visit of Mr. Coffey and
himself to Stockport on Saturday last and that
they could not recommend Allen the Bury left
back but spoke very favourably of Thompson the
Bury right full back and it was resolved that he
be seen play again.
The Secretary was instructed to send to Liverpool F. C.
congratulations on their brilliant victory over Aston
Villa at Tottenham on Saturday last.
