Griffiths Mr. Kirkwood reported his visit to Garston hereon
and Mr. Coffey and he were deputed to see
Griffiths play at Garston on Thursday evening
and report.
Mr. Kirkwood was requested to write Broxburn
Club again re Stewart.
The Secretary reported that Liverpool had agreed
with Rochdale for the postponement of their fixture
from the 25th to the 28th inst in consideration
of the payment of £50 to Rochdale in order to
play their postponed Central League Match with
us here on the former date, the £50 to be a charge
on the Gate. It was resolved that this arrangement
be confirmed but that we demur to the offer having
been made to Rochdale without our concurrence
and to observe that the amount appeared to us
to be extravagant.
The trainers made their reports.
