An application from J. M. Lofthouse for
a position as Scout was read & the
consideration thereof deferred indefinitely.
McFadyen This player having enquired if the
club proposed to reimburse him in
respect of rail fares between Preston
& Liverpool during his visits to Dr. Broad
in Summer, the Secretary was instructed
to inform him that such was not our
intention.
The question of reducing the number
of gatemen at our matches owing to the
diminution in receipts was considered
& it was decided to maintain the employment
of as many men as possible & offer them
a reduced fee of 4/- for first team games.
Next Meeting The next meeting of the Board was fixed for
Tuesday next at 2.30 at the Bradford Hotel.
