was instructed to proceed to Sheffield tomorrow, secure
an interview with Mr. Clegg and formally protest
in the terms above mentioned on behalf of the Club,
and that whilst we would loyally abide by the
decision of the Committee as to the suspensions he
was to request a re-opening of the case and for
permission to submit such further evidence as may
be necessary.
The teams for Saturday owing to the above suspensions
were revised and it was resolved that the outside
left position be occupied by Palmer and the
centre forward position by Wright and that
Challinor take the inside right position, Roberts the
outside left position with Kirsopp in the centre
in the second team. Stewart to go to Stalybridge
as Reserve.
