[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park,
July 21st 1915.]
Present All The Directors except Dr. Baxter and Mr. Green.
Minutes The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.
The Secretary reported that Mr. McKenna had seen
the Clerk to the Guardians and had mentioned to
him that a deputation had been formed by Liverpool F.C.
and Everton F.C. to interview him with regard to the
assessments of the two grounds and that the Clerk had
informed Mr. McKenna that it was not necessary to
send a deputation at present as they were aware that
such assessments would have to be reviewed and that we
need not pay the rates meantime.
The Chairman reported the Annual Meeting of the
League held in London on Monday and reviewed the
business transacted.
The fixtures for the Lancashire Section of 14 Clubs
carrying the season to the end of February (a copy of
which was supplied to each Director) were considered
and approved. A supplementary list of fixtures
for the months of March and April were also considered,
the Chairman reporting that the League Management
Committee suggested that the net gate receipts in the
supplementary tournament should be pooled and one
third share given to the Red Cross Fund, and that this
suggestion was left with the Clubs for consideration.
The Secretary reported the receipt of the League
Championship Medals also of the Directors Medals and
